Other Diego Items

Go Diego Go (for those of you who don’t have small children and therefore don’t already know) is a very catchy DVD series among children ages two to six years old. Now, besides just the DVD’s, there are Go Diego Go clothes, shoes, toys, video games, backpacks, cups, stationary and pretty much anything else imaginable; however, if you are looking for a simple, easy to get gift for a small child, the DVD’s are sure to entertain them again and again, with titles such as “The Iguana Sing Along”, featuring Iggy the Iguana, a Librarian llama, and Anacondas, all of whom Diego and his sister Alicia help in some way, and “Safari Rescue” featuring Diego and Alicia in the Serengeti searching for missing elephants and getting acquainted with Panchita the Prairie dog an Jorge the little hawk. As you can see from the titles, they are pretty adventuresome and exciting, something that is sure to keep a young child’s attention while at the same time, teaching them a bit about the exciting world of animals.

More on Diego DVDs

Go Diego Go DVD’s contain many exciting adventures that your young child will enjoy watching again and again, all the while singing, or even dancing to the very catching tune of “Go Diego Go Go Go” (the theme song of the DVD series). If you want an idea of some of the entertaining episodes that are available, here are a few, that were released on a couple DVD’s in 2007: “An Underwater Mystery (Lucy the Whale Shark”, “Diego Saves a Baby Dolphin”, “Journey to Jaguar Mountain”, and then a couple of exciting rainforest features: “Little Kinkajou is in Beehive Trouble” and “The Great Jaguar Rescue”. Next we get acquainted with a cute baby Chinchilla name Chita, after which we meet a mommy Macaw. All in all these shows are quite entertaining; after all, most children love animals, and personally, I think a love of animals is a wholesome quality to develop (and not just for small children either.)

Diego DVDs

If you are looking for a good present for a preschool child, the a “Go Diego Go” DVD is a safe bet. This series is very popular among children ages two to six years old, and many parents like these DVD’s as well, as they have educational value to them (teaching about animals and animal habitats) and unlike many modern day cartoons, do not feature violent behavior and other traits that children are better off not learning.

Each DVD features either three or four episodes (depending on how long each show is; some features are special features that go for twice as long as a normal feature), but in any case, they are fun and wholesome entertainment that young children will enjoy again and again! Just to give you an idea of what is available, in one DVD we have Diego saving the condors, then a pygmy marmoset (if you want to find out what that is, buy the video), and then a wolf pup that needs Diego’s rescuing.

Diego Saves Christmas

Go Diego Go is a very popular DVD show among younger children, especially with preschoolers. I personally would say it is among one of the more educational shows you can show your small child and the main characters are kind hearted children that love and help animals, making it quite a wholesome show to have your little ones watch. The main character of the show, Diego, is Dora the Explorer’s cousin; however, unlike Dora, he does not focus so much on teaching Spanish as he does on teaching about the vast and exciting animal world.

If you are looking for a good Go Diego Go DVD for this Christmas, I would recommend Diego Saves Christmas, which was released in 2006 and features two special Christmas shows: “Diego Saves Christmas” and “Pepito’s Penguin School”, bringing wholesome Christmas cheer to the whole family. There are also two other features on this DVD that are not Christmassy, “Save the Sea Turtles” and “A Blue Morpho Butterfly is Born”.
